LitFit ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the LitFit mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use LitFit:

Account information: Name and email address when you sign in with Apple.
Workout data: Sessions you log, including muscles trained, duration, energy levels, and ratings.
Health & wellness data: Protein intake, water intake, sleep quality, and other self-reported metrics you choose to log.
Progress photos: Photos you choose to take or upload to track your physical progress over time. Providing these is entirely optional.
Body measurements: Measurements you choose to enter, such as weight, waist, chest, arms, and similar. These are optional.
Technical data: Basic technical information (such as device type and operating system version) may be processed by Apple and Google Firebase to deliver the app and its core services. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we do not collect or store this information ourselves for tracking or profiling.
Push notification tokens: Used to deliver workout reminders and recap notifications.

How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the LitFit app experience.
To sync your workout data across your devices.
To store and display your progress photos and measurements back to you, so you can view your timeline, compare check-ins, and create a progress card.
To send you workout reminders, streak alerts, and weekly/monthly recaps (only if you enable notifications).
To calculate personal records and performance trends.

Progress Photos and Measurements

The progress feature is optional — the app works fully without it, and you decide what, if anything, to add.

Storage: Your photos are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Google Firebase Storage) and are tied to your account. Your measurements are stored alongside your other account data.
Use: We use your photos and measurements solely to provide LitFit's progress features. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with any third party for their own purposes.
Sharing is your choice: A progress photo or card is only ever shared when you actively choose to share it using your device's share options. We never post or share your photos on your behalf.
Deletion: You can delete any individual check-in and its photos at any time within the app. If you delete your account, all of your progress photos — including their thumbnails — are permanently removed from cloud storage, along with your measurements and account records. This deletion is automatic and cannot be undone.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), hosted in North America. Your workout data, progress photos, and measurements are private and only accessible by you — we do not share, sell, or monetize your personal data.

Third-Party Services

LitFit uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, photo storage, and push notifications.
Sign in with Apple: Account creation and authentication.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active, including any progress photos and measurements. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen within the app. When you delete your account, this data — including your photos in cloud storage — is permanently deleted. We do not retain copies after deletion except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

LitFit is intended for users aged 16 and older. The app is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Because LitFit lets users add progress photos and body measurements, we ask that anyone under 16 not create an account or use the app.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information and the associated account. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@litfit.online.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your data, or delete it yourself at any time within the app.
Opt out of push notifications at any time via your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
